April 2010 - Delta Marine Technologies, Inc. attains ISO 9001:2008 certification
Delta Marine Technologies, Inc. a premier provider of project management , engineering and consultants, has achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification of its Quality Management System.
DMTI received the ISO 9001:2008 certification after being assessed by WCS Quality Registrars, LLC. The certification is the first piece of an expanding certification program for the company.
The DMTI scope of certification includes “Provision of Engineering, Project Management, Subsea Installation and Related Services for Offshore and Onshore Oilfield Related Industries.
“The WCS ISO 9001:2008 certification is a very important step for DMTI We strive daily to achieve the highest possible standards with safety being our top standards priority,” said President and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Scott Dingman.
Maintained by the International Organization for Standardization, the ISO 9000 is a family of standards for quality management systems. Specifically, ISO 9001:2008 certification requires a company to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements; and enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the quality management system, including processes for continual improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
First Quarter 2010 - Delta Marine Technologies, Inc. received fully executed MSA's from:
- Hornbeck Offshore Services
- Siapem America
- Boots & Coots
- Nomad Energy, Inc.
- Fairways Offshore Exploration, Inc.
February 2010 - Delta Marine Technologies, Inc. is in the process of becoming ISO 9001 certified. We anticipate the complete certification by mid April 2010.
January 2010 - Delta Marine Technologies, Inc. expanded the Quality Management and Human Resources Department within the company.
December 2009 - Delta Marine Technologies, Inc. was awarded a key position for Pre-Commissioning Manager by Noble Energy.
Vince comes to DMTI from UTEC Survey Inc as Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director, and a former Marine serving the United States for six years. His international experience in North America, Europe, Central America, Caribbean, Africa, Mediterranean, and South America is a great asset to DMTI as well as his experience in offshore construction, underwater robotics, and geophysical/geotechnical surveying. October 2009 - Delta Marine Technologies, Inc. joins International Marine Contractors Association.
DMTI is very pleased and excited to announce that as of October 12th, 2009 we are a member in good standings in IMCA (International Marine Contractors Association).
We here at DMTI look forward to participating actively within the IMCA organization and believe that this membership shows yet again our commitment to become a well established international organization in the market place.
September 2009 - Delta Marine Technologies, Inc. wins award from Boskalis Offshore B.V.
DMTI is award overall project management of diving related tie in operation of a 24” pipeline laid recently in Argentina by Allseas. DMTI will oversee the overall diving operations from procedure development, vendor evaluation, safety , installation activity and completion of all related documents as required by our client.
The project will start immediately and has a duration thru the end of 2009.
Mr. Scott Dingman is pleased with this award as it again shows that DMTI is truly moving into the international market and is please that DMTI’s new overseas relationships are well in place and working toward a common goal to supply the industry with a high quality Project Management / Engineering company that has years of practice installation experience.
September 2009 - Delta Marine Technologies, Inc. wins award from Cal Dive Marine Construction Ltd.
DMTI is award a key position on the just awarded pipe in pipe (PIP) project from China’s CNOOC / COOEC to Cal Dive Marine Construction Ltd. in the Bei Hai region.
This project consist of lay 4.2 kilometer of 6” / 10” PIP and a second line of 32.2 kilometers of 16” inside 22” PIP, complete with beach pulls and all associated tie-ins and crossings.
Mr. Scott Dingman has stated he is very happy with this project as it is developing DMTI relationships in the SEA (South East Asia) region with installations contractors as well as the major Oil Companies in the region. This project opens the door to new clients that will require our assistance in their forth coming installation challenges.
September 2009 - Delta Marine Technologies, Inc. opens new corporate headquarters in Houston Texas.
We are very pleased to have opened our new offices in North Houston. They are located at 550 Club Drive, Suite 345, Montgomery Texas 77316. We current occupy 1500 sq. ft with options on an additional 3800 sq. ft.
Our new offices a equipped with one of the most secure computer systems / servers in the nation and we have 24 hour manned security. Our building are also equipped with emergency power that will run continually for 45 days in the event of storm damage and also three independent data and phone line servers that are thru three different states, thus never leaving us without internet or communications in a storm or emergency situations.
In addition we can offer our client base emergency office spaces during their times of need in a fully functional and secure office environment during storms / disaster situations.
August 2009 - Delta Marine Technologies, Inc. signed J.V. with Burdock Offshore Services (BOS).
This agreement is for Delta Marine Technologies, Inc.(DMTI) to act as it partner in the Americas region on business development for DMTI / BOS joint projects and for Burdock Offshore Service (BOS) to act as DMTI's business development partner in the European region.
Mr. Scott Dingman , President of DMTI is very excited about this agreement as it falls in line with the DMTI commitment to expand into the international market place as a leading provider in Project Management , Engineering Services, and Consultants is all phase of offshore projects worldwide.

Gary will be implimental in leading project teams in some of DMTI's most current contract awards. Gary comes to DMTI from Lowe Offshore International, Ltd. where he was a Sr Project Manger over seeing all construction phases of oil and gas production facilities and pipelines both onshore and offshore. Jon comes to us from Helix Energy Solution after being a key member of the initial Cal Dive International Inc. team. Jon has served over twenty five years in the offshore industry and was the Superintendent ofof the MSV UNCLE JOHN for 10 year in which he installed many of the GoM first and developed great working relationships with many of you and your companies. Jon will be leading our project managers and project teams over the coming years to develop a highly professional and dedicated resource of project management and project oversight for our client base. Jon will be implemental in further developing our reporting, tracking, and overall project management division while keeping a main focus on brining safety, quality and efficiency to all projects that Delta Marine Technologies, Inc. are involved with. Jim comes to us from Helix Energy Solution after being a key member of the initial Cal Dive International Inc. management team and then as the V.P of Commercial Deepwater Construction for Helix Energy Services Inc.
Jim has over 20+ years experience in offshore related projects of all scopes.
Jim will be leading Delta Marine Technologies, Inc. over the coming years along with many new Team members that have years of offshore experience to bring safety, quality and efficiency to all projects that we are involved with.
Jim will be taking the lead as Commercial and Business Development leader in our forth coming growth strategy.

Delta Marine Technologies, NFLD, Inc. signs a exclusive distributorship for fiberglass piping and fitting in the Canada with the Conley Corporation.
Mr. Leroy Coffey, general Manager of DMTI NFLD, Inc. has successfully negotiated and closes a exclusive agreement with Conley Offshore in Canada. DMTI sees this a key component in the forth coming Canadian Offshore projects with the new fields and new structures planned to start construction in the first half of 2010.
